Hello Viewers!

We have come to the end, I have provided all of my accomplishments during this journey.  You have ALL of the tools you need to "Work From Home".  As you know my decision was to build an online business, in online marketing.  For those who just want to earn a salary online, (example- typing, medical billing, etc) I have provided ONLINE JOBS!

I will be adding a loans page to The Mackey Workshop, and I will not blog about that.  Real Estate Loans would not be part of this journey, but it is my profession for 2 decades of my life, which I enjoy regardless to what issues the economy has.  I will have outsource links and loans that I work directly with my private investors.  I will be honest and open all of my services to my viewers.

I have successfully closed on selling lottery notes, mortgage notes, delinquent notes, and business notes.  I don't want to use this post to provide my lending services so please check it out when the page is up.  I will promise to include all of the financial services that I am able to provide, along with the requirements.

There is more!

I have just added a Health and Fitness page.  This is something I WILL  blog about.  I am going to blog in the same format as the last two.  I am one of those people that want to be healthy, eat right, and exercise, BUT..... I am sure I have a few with me.  There is always a BUT.  It is time to stop making excuses, I am going to do it, and I will blog about it.  I will say I am good with taking vitamins, but we need so much more. I have been told you feel so much younger and healthy when you pay attention to what you feed your body.  The saying that motivated me was " YOUR BODY IS LIKE A CAR, TO GET THE BEST PERFORMANCE YOU HAVE TO FEED IT THE BEST GAS".  Therefore, the site will include, the best foods, foods of the day, the best vitamins and what they do, exercise, and more.  What I am going to do is eat the foods, and exercise, and take the vitamins.  I will also have guest Certified Personal Trainers, giving tips with there video clips.  There will be updated exercise, tips and products for staying young.  The page is in the beginning stages of development, so if you visit now, to get familiar.  Make sure you come back when it is completed.  I will still build a easy page to follow, my concept of simple sites will follow throughout.

So finally, Working From Home is closing out!!! But you will still here from me.  My next blog, which may be final will be "Building my Business".  I will briefly share techniques I am using to grow my online marketing business.  So depending on when I start my get in shape campaign, I may be trying to maintain good health, growing my online marketing business, and blogging about both at the same time.  We will see, trust me if I get burned out I will tell you, but I think I am motivated enough.

My clicks and impressions are rating high for the first 2 months.  My android app has a 5 star rating.  During the "Building my Business" I may be able to figure out the commissions.  We are way to early to determine if and what money was made.  I can view clicks, impressions, and commissions with Adsense.

There will be 1 more post to this blog and that will be the "UPDATE".  That is when the url, name and date of next post will be revealed.

I want to use this post as a recap.  I am going to go step by step and provide you with only the links that I have utilized.  Of course you are aware that I started with the blog first, while I was searching for which online business is best for me.  When I started blogging, I had to obtain links that I would be able to advertise on my post.  The affiliate program that I preferred was Commission Junction.  With this program you are able to advertise for many consumers, and get paid for leads and sales.  I was able to join programs that allowed me to obtain access to links for advertisement.  Once I started getting approvals to join the programs I immediately started placing my links.  I used social sites and the blog.  I learned that Google had a program where you can earn money from their advertisements.  In order to qualify you must have a live page with acceptable content to Google.  There are guidelines and restrictions that you may need to follow in order to be accepted through the Google Adsense program.  This program is what led to the website.  To build my website I utilized GoDaddy.com website builder, along with Wordpress.

I notice alot of my views was coming through from mobile phones and tablets so I wanted to make sure my site was mobile friendly.   For the mobile app I installed the wp app maker plug in, in Wordpress.  Follow the step by step instruction and you will easily develop a mobile app.  After you develop your app, download to your computer, then you open google app developer and follow the instructions to upload your app to the google play store.  Up to this point you have spent $60.  To pay for your domain name for one year, with 24 hour assistance for site developing is $35.  The Google Play Developer has a one time registration fee of $25.  This is all you will spend unless you choose to pay for advertising.  Now because my website is mobile friendly it was not necessary to develop a mobile site.  Since I was doing research and Google offers a site with developer assistance for free,  I did it anyway.  It was actually simple enough that I was able to link the blog, and my official site.  I also was able to add a new tab for online jobs and a tab to download the mobile app.  If you want to avoid the cost of the website ($35) the mobile site is sufficient enough to be accepted into the Google Adsense program.  This site can be utilized as your official and mobile website.  If you compare my two sites you will find I used the same links on both, they are just set up differently.

You need a good concept, make sure you choose a website that has a demand, is unique enough to eliminate competition, and a topic that you have knowledge of.  You need to be able to answer any questions that your visitors may have, whether it be about your product or service.  Build a business that is true to you.    You need to have a reason for people to choose your site over others. Think of something that best suits you.  Example. If you are a hairstylist, then search for links including hair products and cosmetics.  Build a site based on your profession attach your approved links to your site, and then sign up for Google Adsense.  My main concept for my site was just to build a site where people who get frustrated from browsing can come.  I did my best to include shopping links for all brands, without making it overwhelming for the shopper.  At the same time, my blog is posted on the site.  My idea is a "One Stop Shop" where you can learn to work from home and shop online.  Once you have completed the steps above, you can start earning money from your website.  If you follow my blog closely you will see it did not take long, considering I had no experience in building a website.  I am now at the point where I am marketing the website.  This is very necessary if you want to earn income from your site.

Now during the process of building these sites and searching for affiliate accounts to advertise for, I manage to stumble upon a quick and easy set up process to owning your online store.  There are many different opportunities out there, to build an online store.  The two that I took advantage of was my a store @ Amazon called Games Plus and my online boutique, Queens & Things.  If you would like to start up your online store, just click on the link.  With Amazon you have choices, affiliate, astore, etc... You can advertise their products, own a store, or both.  I, of course chose both.  With Queens & Things, you sign up with your email address and then you follow the links I cannot say this enough, No Matter what type of business you own "The Key to Success" is in your marketing, and return clientele.  Therefore, YOU MUST have a product or service that is in demand, and you have to let people know.  A good focus when you are marketing your sites is in your description.  Any time you have a live page, you will be given an option to enter a "Description" or "Meta Description" of your site.  You are also given the option of choosing Keywords and Tags.  This is a highlighted step in your marketing.  This is how you are found in search engines.  Be basic in your descriptions, but use smart keywords and tags.  Just think of the words that  you would use if you were looking for the type of site you have published.  Example:  Hairstylist.. (key and tag words) Hair, Hairstylist, Beautiful hair, Discounts, Hair styles, hair growth products... etc...

You want to make sure you have marketable products, and place their links where a customer for that product is most likely to find it.  Once you have your online businesses set up, ALL your work is in the marketing.  You have to decide which marketing technique is working best for you.  What Keywords and Tags bring you the most traffic.  Emailing, Social Sites, and Blogging is the most convenient and FREE way to get a message out there, but it is not the only way.   There are a few advertisement options you can choose from that may cost, a little.  There are expensive ways, but I am only here to keep things simple and costless.  Business Cards is always a good idea. I will make sure I have some type of discount for you with business cards.  When you reach that time contact me and I will see how I can help cut the cost of business cards.  There are different Ad Networks out there that you can set a daily budget (usually minimum $10), and you create an ad that they will run daily until they reach your daily budget.  You are only charged when a visitor clicks on the ad.  So yes you may be charged but you received an interested customer, that can bring in more commission.  The charge per click is not hurtful, $10 can get your ad running all day.  Now when it stops being enough and you are using up that $10.  You have to raise your budget, or not.  Think about it, the only way you will need to increase your budget is when your clicks increase.  Does it really hurt to add to your budget to receive more clicks?  That is your call.  This is why the meaning of working from home is really based on online marketing.  The more you put in is the more you will get out of it.  Some of the Ad Networks that I tried are Adwords, Admob,and Adwhirl.

Other than improving my site, and learning more about online marketing, I am done with the developing stages of building my online business.  My views between my blog and websites are approximately at 2000 views for 1 month.  The amazing part is I have views in over 20 countries.

Marketing with Google!!!

I am not going to spend too much time with this post, since it is part II to the "Marketing" post.  Marketing is a huge part of growing your business.  Google has alot of products that can assist with Marketing.  One of their products is there very own social site.  If you are familiar with facebook, then it will be very simple for you to set up Google Plus.  Google Plus also has a streamline, where you can post sites and links for products.  Spend the time to browse and see who you can add in your circle, which is equivalent to a friend request on facebook.  Google offers its products with step by step instruction on how to get signed up with google.  So what I will do is name the products by google that can assist you in working from home.

Now I finally have something for everyone who wants to receive a salary from working online.  Remember I mentioned that I would have to revisit my mobile app?  In doing so I realized it is very convenient for the blog, but it wasn't too accessible for the shopping links.  My site's focus is based on making shopping easy, with easy access to online jobs and tools for building your business.  I utilized Google's site developer to build a mobile site.  It wasn't difficult to do, I was able to link the official site "The Mackey Workshop", the app "Work From Home", and the blogs "Work From Home" and Working From Home".  The added piece is the "ONLINE JOB LISTING", which is a list of jobs that you can do from home.  They are ads by directly by GOOGLE which I obtained through their adsense service.  The jobs are actual paying jobs for those who want to earn money while building your online business, or for those whose goals are to work from home and get paid a salary.

The job listings are managed and updated by Google.  The listing contains typing, medical billing, IT and more jobs.  All jobs are online jobs!!!!

I will be adding another page to "The Mackey Workshop mobile site" this page will consist of the loans that I will be able to provide.  There will be guidelines and starting process information of loans that I personally will work.  To keep things simple, you can access the "The Mackey Workshop mobile site" by visiting "The Mackey Workshop" @ www.sheinamackey.com and clicking on "The Mackey Workshop mobile" I also provided a link to the online job listing, which will take you directly to the listing page of the mobile site.

The Mackey Workshop is a site based around simplicity.  I would like to make online browsing as simple as possible.  My goal is to keep it as an exclusive website, meaning it won't be flooded with articles and ads.  It is solely for "Easy Shopping" and guidance for working from home.

I am going to give you a brief review:

Choose your online job, whether it be "Starting you online business", Salary paying online job, reading emails, surveys, etc.  (options listed in "Work From Home" www.freeurtime.blogspot.com).

My next blog is going to introduce another "online business".   Building Mobile Sites for small businesses.  You will not be able to build a business with mobile sites, if you haven't followed the steps and links to create one of your own.  I am giving you time to get familiar with the sites and apps before I go into too much detail regarding the mobile sites.  I used Google Site Developer to build my Mobile Site.  IT IS FREE!!!, CLICK ON SITE DEVELOPER LINK ABOVE, TO GET STARTED!!!  You still need a concept for your site, therefore you still will have to start by choosing your business.

I am following the views, I noticed my blog is viewed in countries across the map.  It is for that reason that I chose for my site to be just a simple site for those who are not very computer literate.  It is, "THE EASY SITE FOR SHOPPING AND LEARNING".

This post will be on Marketing, but we need to back up a bit.  Marketing is a never ending topic so it will continue on into the next post.  I want to discuss where I am and the issues and resolutions I am going through.  Now I told you I chose Advertising and Marketing as my online business.  I have 37 affiliate accounts, 2 online stores, an app in the Google Play Store, and the website.  As for the, affiliate links. I needed  an avenue to Advertise and Market the products.  So of course here on my blog will be a few of them.  The online stores are another way to advertise your products, but then you would have to market the store so buyers can find you.  That works the same for the mobile app and the website.   Social networks is an open market for Advertising, we have Facebook, Google Plus, Linked In, Twitter, and a few more.  Major companies are using social sites to advertise, market, and network.  So what I have done is post links on the timeline of all of the social sites, that I am member of, I advertise the website, products, and online store there.

I would like to give you the ups and downs with this choice.  The ups is if you really want to build an online business that is successful and profitable you have the tools to do it.  All you need is the passion.  The reason I say that, is because building a website and mobile app was not easy.  Also to post and advertise your products, you need patience and creativity.  I am DEFINITELY NOT saying that it is too difficult, because I did it while telling you about it along the way.  So here comes the downs!!! The downs are when you don't know what the heck you are doing and you are now obligated to inform your viewers in a timely fashion of what is going on you can get pressured and frustrated enough to want to give up.  So I had to learn FAST! Now your steps should be much easier because I am taking you through the straight and narrow steps.  I went all around and back and forth until I figured it out.  The stores came by accident and I really enjoy having them.

Queens & Things is a very elegant women's boutique.  As I was in the beginning process of the blogs I stubbled upon a Work From Home channel to build an online store.  As I visited the site, I took the time to quickly review (notice "took the time" and "quickly") the inventory.  I noticed there were pieces that I felt was marketable.  If I would not have liked majority of the inventory, I would not have signed up to be an owner of my own boutique.  You don't want to get caught with products you can't market.  Use the same approach when picking your affiliate links. Games Plus is my astore at amazon.  I became an affiliate of amazon and noticed that they had a link to owning your own store.  I didn't do this right away because I had Queens & Things first and I realized though it is not difficult to become a store owner under these businesses.  You still need to take the time and build and market your store.  What good is a store if noone is buying anything?  So you have to make sure you have a store with products on high demand and then you have to make sure your store is seen for buyers to get too.  In knowing that I dragged my feet a little with the a store at amazon.  Now that it is up, I still need to take the time and revisit and expand my inventory.  Right now I only have Books and Games.  I did revisit Queens & Things since it became live, and repicked my inventory.  As I was doing that I notice there was a lot of jewelry pieces that I should not have had while there was just as much that I should've had.  So I knew I rushed through the first time, and that is important NOT TO DO.  Then when your store is just the way you want it, You MUST market, market, and market.  Buyers have to know where you are.  So if you just want to own a few onine stores, that would be a great idea!! Make time to pick your inventory and manage your stores, remember Market, Market, and Market.  You also need to get a Pay Pal account, this is a online account where it is easily set up for you to receive and send payments.  You can receive pay from customers, advertisers, or anyone via email.  It is easy to sign up just click on the link and pick type of account you want.  All you need is an email address.

Now the website, The Mackey Workshop For those who have been following from the beginning noticed the name change.  It was called "Work From Home" it is now called "The Mackey Workshop".  Ok, Of course most of you know why it was called work from home.  For the ones that don't, this blog started out and still is about working from home.  But this blog is written in real time, meaning as I learn about working from home I am writing about it.  So the website wasn't part of the plan.  That is what I learned would be necessary to have a profitable online business.  So the idea for the website didn't get the necessary thought process.  So, once it became live and I begin to market my products "The Work From Home" title was getting confusing.  Here on the blog page it is fine, but when you visit The Mackey WorkShop! you find a few links where you can shop at High End stores with name brand sunglasses, Clothes, Shoes and Accessories.  You will see Discounts to Airline Tickets and Hotels.  There are Jewelry links to major online Jewelry Stores.  You will find Coupons, Payless Shoes, Amazon etc.  Then I have a banner page where there are Hot Deals and Discounts!  There is a banner there for a 1 day sale!! You will find ANYTHING!! you need but it is only on sale for that day.  So don't go on until you are ready to buy.  But you will find something you want for real cheap, but it just won't be there the next time (unless you get it on a day it comes back around).  I also have a Google Search Engine so you would not have to leave the website to go back to Google.  You can just use the  Google Search Engine Banner, the same like the one on the bottom of this page.  Though I did copy the blog and pasted onto the site Work From Home seem to be half of what the website was about, and Shopping appeared to be the other half.  So that is how "WorkShop" became the tail end of the title.  Then you can see the creative web address and there you have it. "THE MACKEY WORKSHOP".  My sister pointed it out to me, that the site could not be called "Work From Home" anymore.  I feel that is important to know, because family support can always help you prosper.  But just know the difference between support and non supportive help (putting it nicely).  So the concept for the website is to have an easy access for those who want to shop online but get overwhelmed with all of the competition links.  I will manage the site to be a one stop for those who have trouble browsing the webs.  I know first hand you can go online to shop and end up somewhere you didn't want and also with a virus.  Those pop up links can be confusing and misleading.  So my site will be based on getting you to right where you want to go when you are shopping online.  I have spam control so there will be no pop ups.  I may add or take away links to better serve you.  If I remove a link that you often use, you can write me in the comment box, and I will put it back.  I will keep the site personable and simple.  I will allow it to grow and maybe better place some items, but easy breezy will always remain the idea.  I think it is a good tool to relax and not feel confused while shopping.  So keep visiting, and use the site not just to review the blog, but make it your one stop guide.

Now that brings me to the mobile app. As of right now, the mobile app is perfect for you to have the blog on the go. You can click the mobile app to install.  This particular piece we are going to have to revert back.  I still have alot to learn with the mobile apps, though it is already at the Google Play Store.  I am not sure if it is at its best, So we will come back to this. The First 30 Days!!

How are you, and how have you been doing in the past 30 days.  I will start from the beginning of May 1st, and we will do a brief recap.  When I started the blog I was looking for any and all income streams that you can earn from home.  I did experience and learned alot.  There are many forms of income streams as I explained in "Free Your Time" (freeurtime.blogspot.com) .  The catch is really finding your niche.  I believe people get overwhelmed with the information they find and "Don't Find" (I will explain later).

At this point I found alot of ways you can "build a business online", that is what the main topic of this blog will be.  As for the viewers who are just looking to "work online" I will post those links for you.  So if you would like to just work and earn an income from home, then look at the banners for the jobs online and click on it.  For those who would like to grow an online business, you need to keep reading.  Now the main tactic in an online business is marketing.  Marketing a product that you are interested in yourself is how you would rate your success.  Out of all of the income streams that I gave you in "Free Your Time", I found my niche to be marketing for advertisers, which is considered affiliate marketing.  I have been able to obtain products from 42 advertisers to market for them.  It is work but I am learning and blogging as I go.  In doing this there was almost a problem.  I wasn't evaluating the terms closely (you must be careful).  You don't want to end up with a product that you can not sell.  So I am now being more careful, I am reading the terms and examining the products to make sure it is something my audience will be interested in.  So in this blog I will post all of the tools and guide you will need to start your business.  I posted a few links before, but I needed to slow down and find ones that you will need to help with your home business.  So what did I accomplish in the "First 30 days"? I found my niche, Advertising and Marketing products for the booming online businesses.  Shopping online is what alot of people are doing.  That doesn't mean you should pick this income stream.  If you would prefer one of the others, you may contact me and I will still guide you.  I can not CONTINUE to tackle all of them that are out there.  I made some dollars with all of them, but the success will only come when I put focus into one.  So please find your niche and go with that one. I started by signing up to everything and you don't want to do that.  Just sign up to what you want to do ONLY!! because no matter what you choose  for an online business there is going to be alot of work to grow it.  That is what the next post will be about

With my choice there comes a few businesses, I have a store at Amazon where my inventory is books and game downloads (I will add more in time).  I have a boutique, which you should all know by now called "Queens & Things", I am growing a business with affiliate links, I build a website where my marketing would be directed too, and I build an Android App and published it on Googe Play.  Now that does not mean in anyway that I have tons of success, REMEMBER this is still "Starting an online business" and I have to put in the work for it to become successful.  I have seen some success, and I have done enough homework to see more success.  I provided all of the links that I used in the past 30 days to get started and accomplish what I did in 30 days.  Now you can just click on the highlighted area and you can either sign up to advertise, open up a boutique, store.. etc.  The links are there, these are the same exact links I used.

Finally, again my original profession is in Real Estate Finance and I narrowed down my funding sources to one.  Those of you who are in Real Estate, Mortgages, and/or any loans know what I mean when I say with the economy changing, demand has went down and the competition has risen.  So I am still funding and as for the other loans and mortgages, I will place the links of those "competitors", who no longer needs brokers.
I am working directly with a lender that is currently providing first mortgage financing and equity investment capital in the US exclusively.  Their Real Estate notes are typically 12 month notes with interest only.  Their minimum loan/investment amount is 2 Million and their maximum is  right about 50 Million.  Their terms on a loan range from 9 - 15 %, and points of  2 -5, depending on the collateral and the transaction, they will consider non-traditional collateral, as well, such as fine art, A/R, and precious metal.  In addition they invest in cash.

I will end this post, I don't want to give you too much at one time, another bad experience I had in my research.  Sometimes they give you too much, especially when you are not understanding.  I told you earlier I would let you know what I meant by what you "don't find".  You don't find what you are looking for, like the answer to your questions, like help picking the best niche, like all that would be included in your start up process.  They give you information you don't need and you end up following it to find out you wasted your time.  Then when you are trying to figure it out the information you do need, it is too hard to find.  That is where my guidance will help.  I will cut out all of the unneccessary steps, just keep following, and remember find a way to contact me if you have questions.  There are comment boxes everywhere.  Lets get through the next 30 days, Til next time!!
